the A1 CN850 is the one I bought. Although not shown as detachable the arm and ball can be removed and stowed in the rear floor box. At that price

Hi,
I had my towbar fitted about a month ago, i'm in Lancashire though.

It was a bossal towbar with twin electrics (just as good as witter).

I bought a brand new box Witter from Ebay, then fitted it myself.
Single electrics

Bought Ball and backplate to protect bumper.

Learnt 200 - 2003 Pics DO NOT have multiplexing at rear lights, but to be safe got a pro to instal cable.

Costs

Towbar ( inc all bolts,washers and electrics ( inc buzzer ))

Do it ytourselve for the price of a bar and the electrics. PM me with your email address and I'll send you my notes on how to wire it up. It's not rocket science and takes about 3 to 4 hours depending on skill level to achieve.

Remember when fitting this if you have a newish caravan with the ALKO stabiliser built in to the towball
that the centre of the towball must be 70mm clearance from the bumper. The one I had fitted does not have the clearance so not sure what to do at the moment.

You should have had the long neck Alko ball fitted at the same time as this gives the correct distance.

It is possible to fit a spacer using longer bolts between the ball and bar to achieve clearance required for stabiliser hook ups
