I have seen something like this before. It looks like it;s the male version of a fitting - you push it into another fitting and it snaps together - there appears to be a barb on the outside of the 'teeth' to hold it in place - probably something that you snap together but take apart using a twisting (but not screwing) action.

I assume due to its cleaniness that it's used in the home.

A tiny clue would be good.

The object is 95 mm dia and 125 mm long.

Lightbulb remover.

Only partly right. Nothing to do with light bulbs.
It is a remover but a more specific answer is required.

95mm is likely to be the internal diameter of a soil pipe. Can’t see what you’d want to remove from a soil pipe though.

I was going to suggest some sort of de-burrer but plastic would not be used for that.

Would I be correct in my previous thinking that this fits inside something rather than outside?

What percentage of forum members are likely to have seen one of these?

It goes outside and then in. Then twist.

Nothing to do with cars.

No, but can be used to make an impression on software engineers devil.gif

Possible to find the thing it removes in the home if not something similar.

Is it something you put at the top of a drainpipe to stop leaves, birds, badly supervised hedgehogs etc going down it?

I trust you are not looking for Tornado spare parts in the Screwfix catalogue? You'd be better off on Fleabay laugh.gif
