How easy is it to get and replace the fuel cap cover the blody thing broke off in my hand when opening to fill up,I would be grateful for any info. It broke yesterday Saturday, so have not been able to go to dealer yet. Can any one say if this is a fault as it seems quite flimsy.

Thanks in Anticipation

Been there, done that. £14.05 & vat for full assembly. You'll need to get it sprayed up though - mine was £30 for painting & fitting at a back street car body shop - S Yorkshire.

Although my Pic's fuel cap cover did not break, it does not close easily any more, and seems to be misaligned. Has anybody tried to access its mechanism and fix anything similar?

Thanks,
Yannis

Just been back to the dealer to ask if he has got my repacement cover in yet ,they told me that wrong cover was sent to them from Citroen. The question is are there more than one cover size for a pic or are they spinning me a yarn.

I can only assume that they ordered one for a different car. When I got mine - it was in stock when I rang and they never asked what age my pic was.

They need painting so it shouldn't be a colour issue.

Have been to dealers today to get replacement cap fitted and low and behold they had painted it the wrong colour, apparently there are more than one shadeof Sahara gold (just my luck) but to go back on Monday when it will be fitted.
