Intermittent fault and abs / handbrake warning lights illuminate. Can be like this for a good few days then ok for a couple of weeks.

Sent car to good sparkies who ran a diagnostic check. This suggested the control unit was faulty so they fitted a new one. This is a very small black box situated under N/s headlamp.

Cost of small unit nearly £60 !!!! Total cost for all work & part was £242.

But what could I do as car would not pass MOT with lights on.

Rather annoying as car only done 52,000 miles
