The bulbs in my climate control no longer work, meaning I can only see the display panel at night and not the various control buttons around it.

Can someone advise me what bulb type (and code number) I reqiure to put in please?

Thank you.

easy to change in the climate control module unlike the manual heater / aircon knobs.

Thanks for that. Saved me pulling the dash apart before I had the right bulbs.

Got the bulbs and have fitted them, but for some reason they are not coming on. Have taken them back out and refitted them but still no success. Any idea what is going wrong? The unit still works and the centre panel lights up and shows all the functions operating correctly but no backlights on all the buttons. Very odd. Am I missing something?
Thanks.

If I remember correctly these bulbs fit into a holder that rotates 90 degrees to get it out and in. If when fitted it is not fully rotated then when power is applied the voltage reg gets shorted and dies. That is what happens on the dash not sure about the heater panel. First off is there 12v arriving at the panel.

I'm sure they are fully rotated 90 degrees. Do you know where the voltage regulator is located and is it easy to replace. Got 7 bulbs left so will give it another go.
Oh nearly forgot, do you know how to test that power is reaching the bulbs?
Thanks.

Not sure where or if there is one I. The heater panel I sold my Picasso manual.
If you leave. Bulb out of a holder can you see the back of the contacts. If so try measuring across them.

Have a look here. Item 39 on diagram 4 is the auto Aircon panel it shows 3 bulbs and the regulators are the transistor symbols in the white boxes.

Thanks for that.I have taken the control panel out again today and checked the bulbs. All ok, so definitely no power getting to them. Will try and find resistors next. If no joy I will do a Heath Robinson on the unit and take a feed from lower down on the electric window switch if possible and try and get the correct wire which operates the backlight on it,then try and run directly to the 3 lights on the climate control panel. Will take a bit of working out but hopefully will get there. Not going to give up on this as it's really annoying me.
