Hey all, my wife has a citroen C3 Picasso HDI 16v pn60 plate that has a bad coolant leak.

As you look at the engine block from standing in front of the car, its in the big plastic housing on the right of the engine where all the pipes go into it.

I cannot see it properly due to everything that's in its way.

(I have forgotten its proper name?)

Citroen wanted me to sell my first born into slavery for this piece of plastic, can anyone advise the proper part number for it and where else I may purchase one at a fraction of the price?

Perhaps my third born?

Also is there a guide to changing it anywhere?

Perhaps in a haynes manual?

Cheers,

SId.

I got one at my local parts supplier, nigh on £80 but they guaranteed that its the right one.

Come to fit it and the sensor plug is different.

So now I need either an adapter lead or a plug from a scrapyard etc.

Having the pinout of the new sensor would be handy.

We do not know what part you have bought at £80- or which sensor is different.

I hope it was not the thermostat housing as in the parts diagram above.

Search citroen 1336x on ebay.
