hi to all i have 2003 xpic petrol 1.6 which yesterday developed a fault....i got in car started up, reversed off drive then found i was giving loads of rev for slow acceleration .....so am thinking clutch.... the  master and slave are dry with no apparent leaks brake fluid reservoir is full  and lever/arm/fork thing appears to operate slave cylinder fine so...

thinking pressure plate or fly wheel

anyone have any thoughts on what it could be or things to check/try

many thanks

On mine it was the pressure plate operating fingers on the point of wearing through
