Read a post about the feature of locking and opening all windows with the remote by pressing the lock button and keeping held down. Didn't work so tried the unlock button, same again. So just went to lock the car as normal but it won't lock and the mirrors aren't folding in. Alarm keeps going off. Disconnected the battery to reset. Do I need to go through some button sequence presses when I reconnect the battery? Did try reconnecting a couple of minutes ago but still wouldn't lock so have got it disconnected again. Any help much appreciated.

Panic over, started the car and drove it, stopped got out and it locked. Does anybody know if a long button press on the remote does enable the operation up or down of all windows?

It was only a matter of seconds holding the button to close all windows as well as locking, dont think it would work to open the windows though

A long press on the lock button will close the windows, you have to hold the button until the windows are fully closed. This only works for closing the windows not opnenng. It definitely works on cars after 2014....I think it worked on my 2009 car but can't remember for sure.
