I have a really odd issue with my mk2 picasso.

Its the 2.0hdi diesel.

Basically when driving at around 50mph and maintaining that speed you can feel the car pulse almost as if the clutch is slipping slightly. Usually in 5th gear but sometimes in 4th. However if you prod the go pedal it picks up fine and the revs dont rise disproportionately to the acceleration. Also it doesnt seen to judder or pulse when going up steep hills in say 4th or 5th like usual clutch failing.

Its got plenty of go in it and it pulls away nicely. I was thinking maybe filters injectors or a sensor next.

Any ideas greatly appreciated!

see this problem posted frequently , especially on the Peugeot ( same engine ) forums.

sadly it's one of those with no specific fix.

I would try the cheapest first ,

clean MAF

replace fuel filter

replace brake pedal switch

good luck
