The radio in my car has become very insensitive, i.e. most stations are no longer available and those that are are very weak / noisey.  I thought it was likely to be something wrong with the aerial but have just noticed an odd thing. With the radio on and engine on or off the problem is there. As I turn the ignition key to remove it the radio bursts in to life for a moment.

Any ideas please?

Oops - minutes after posting above I had a brain-wave!

I use one of those after-market things to play bluetooth audio / make hands free calls. Somehow its transmission frequency had changed, (accidentally knocked the button?), and it was causing interference. So as the ignition was turned off it as powered down a moment before the radio.

I've changed the transmission frequency and all is well again.
