hi to all i have a 2003 1.6l petrol xsara picasso...

im not getting petrol to injector rail or out of fuel filter

i disconnect the pipe from filter then turn key i expect petrol to be pumped out of filter but no..

i want to remove the tank and try to service the pump or fit a second hand one but i  would like to try powering the pump from a battery before i drop tank there is a multiplug going onto tank that has 4 wires

thick pink cable

thick earth cable

thin red cable

thin brown cable

.... so what would i connect battery to for pump feed ? to see if it runs

the thin ones , red and brown , are for the fuel gauge sender unit,

also , don't forget the fuse and  relay
