My problem is---I don't have a problem

I will try to explain.

The air con works without fault.

But I do not see- never have seen, any waste water on the road.

The carpet are dry and I am not aware of any window condensation issues.

Under the car I can see no sign of an outlet grommet or whatever.

I can find no reference to an ac drain pipe in Citroen Service box.

Internet searches brings up nothing that look like what I am find behind the lower console panels.

Any ideas Pls.

Never actually searched for the drain but it sure works, a little puddle after every run with the A/C on

Mine kicks out  more when it's humid:

It should be on the drivers side near the brake pedal foot rest there's a pipe coming from the innards of the blower unit that joins a pipe going down to the floor of the car near the drivers seat... it may have a cover over it.

No water in the rear storage cubby holes ?  :)

I'm facing defeat on this one. And that's a first- I have always been able to figure out problems with help from this site and the french car forum.

I can find nothing that resembles an outlet or outlet cover anywhere under the car. It is starting to look as if the outlet pipe [if it exists !] is fitted and accessed under the carpet. And that will only lift once half the interior is removed.

Which might explain why weeks of internet searching has revealed zero.

Please keep your eyes open, guys, for any clues.

So I bit the bullet and striped out the drivers seat and then everything else until I reached an empty floor pan- and guess what.

There is no A/C waste water pipe. Quite how and where the water goes I know not, but I would guess that it drops straight through the bottom onto the exhaust. Much like a domestic fridge.

My xpic compressor used to get so covered in condensatiion I always just assumed the water came straight from the engine bay.

With the misfortune of dropping my 10m socket and 1/4-1/2 inch ratchet adapter through my radio slot and down behind my cool storage I will soon be pulling things apart. I doubt it's in quite the same place but I'll let u know :D

Sorry for confusion.
I DID have an xpic. Now I have a C4 egs with a built in 10mm socket :D
I was trying to run a new ground from the radio... Well, it's becoming a long story on my own thread so I won't hijack yours with my tale off woe! Sufficed to say, I'm gonna be playing with lots of wires in the glovebox shortly.

Sorry to labour the point- which C4 do you have?  With the EGS box I would guess it's a 1.6 Hdi Picasso.

Yes, it's a 1.6 HDI VTR+

Or at least it was... Its going back to the garage under warranty as they have been unable to repair it cost effectively.
It had a reoccurring depollution fault, was heavy on fuel (41mpg - mostly a low traffic dual carriageway @ 65mph), they've already replaced a turbo and has an intermittent abs/esp/handbrake fault to top things off.

After having a bulletproof 57 xpic 1.6hdi from new (due to circumstances never even had its shakedown service and was pretty much abused for its entire 11 years) it was disappointing to get hot by so many faults from a car that looked in pretty good condition on the surface
