C4 Exclusive+ 2014

Since having a flat battery a few weeks ago , if I try to use the fob or sensor to lock the car, the alarm goes off , I have to use the key.

You may need to re-initilalise the fobs, there is a section in your handbook that explaons it.

Hi, thanks for your reply.
I have already tried that, to no avail. The fob works ok to open the car, but the alarm goes off when I try to lock it with the fob or keyless sensor.

Has the battery been replaced / why did it go flat? A failing battery can cause all sorts of electrical gremlins with modern cars, get it properly checked (rop Test).

You could try disconnecting the battery for ten minutes to do a reset, follow the instructions here for the correct proceedure (Post #14) ...http://www.citroenpi...opic/8846-faqs/

The battery went flat due to lack of use. I have disconnected the battery, but I don’t think I gave it 10 minutes before reconnecting. I will try giving it longer. Thanks.
