I have a slight "clunk" coming from the nearside wheel area when turning the steering wheel. I have changed the drop link rods and the wishbone arm but I am still getting this clunk. Can anyone please help me? or give me any ideas?

Maybe a broken spring, the broken bit usually ends up in the bottom of the spring cup.

If it’s only the end that’s broken off it won’t affect the ride height noticeably but can cause a clunk on the steering.

Thanks for the reply, checked springs but they are fine. Also forgot to mention that I have checked the engine mounts and these are also OK.

Hi,I have a similar thing when turning full lock I get a knocking noise and also now when going over 40 I get a thumping sound from the from the front,
Took the car to garage and they seem to think its the top spring mounts that need replacing

Hi there. i have had my Picasso to the garage for the same problem. It is the bearing at the top of the suspension leg. i am quoted £50 for parts and labour to fix it.
