My 2006 1.6 petrol Picasso Desire with 8000 miles is to be delivered shortly (ex-mobility car). The non-franchised dealer offers a three months parts and labour guarantee. He also offers a three-year parts and labour guarantee for

My past experience with this type of guarantee.

Bedford van chewed the gears up within about three months -

I tend to agree, they use scare tactics to sell you a warranty (quoting megabucks for repairs only to tell you later it doesn't cover your 'wear'n'tear' fault). :angry:

The AA repair cover is an excellent deal, just make sure that you have service history from an approved garage or they will not pay. I know a few lads from the MGZR forums who have head gaskets on K series engines done under this scheme, saved them lots of pennies ;)

Some people are like slinkies - not really good for anything but they bring a smile to your face when you push them down the stairs!
