Hi Folks

The 2.0HDi Picasso is now seven years old and sort of thinking about a new car that will also be required to tow a 1200KG Lunar Stellar caravan.
Has anybody tested any of the new Picasso's as a towcar?
If so your comments and thoughts please.
Thanks

I can only imagine that it will be a SUPER SUPERCAR envisaging all round versatiiity of a car that a caravanner would require.

Brilliant towcar, go for it.

Towed approx. 3,500 miles with mine, and I am getting 32-33 mpg towing.
It pulls my 1400+ Kg Bailey Pageant Vendee with ease.

Also what make of tow bracket did you get?

Thanks

It is a 2.0 Hdi Exclusive Grand Picasso in Anodised Gold.

I had a fixed Witter towbar fitted, to accommodate my Witter bike carrier,

I have the 2l hdi Exclusive and I tow a caravan of 1445kg laden with no problems, actually it's very stable and the fuel consumption is anything from 26mpg to 34 mpg depending on the wind direction,
regards,
Ian.
