OverSpeed Warning
Mike has decided to wash his Pentland Green sometime in 2006.
This was proudly achieved a grand total of 1 times.
No washing aspirations for 2007.....Ditto 2008.....2009, Forget it.

Without doubt the single most useless gimmick on the Pic.

It might be some use if you didn't need to reset it everytime you start the car; at least a piece of sticky tape stuck at "70" on the dial is there day after day!

It remembers the last set speed but goes inactive each time you turn off engine :( It is also hard to set speed as you have to hold the button when you reach the speed you want :( mine is set at 76mph ;)

It's not totally useless as it beeps when you go over speed but you can ignore it  Alimiter would be better

I can't hear mine even with the hearing aids in so how can you above SWMBOed voice. LOL

Have to agree it is really difficult to use and not worth the effort.

I also recently bought a Xzara picasso and now have the same INACTIVE OVERSPEED WARNING flashing on my screen as Shirley mentioned. I also would like to know how to turn this off -step by step if someong out there knows how - thank you, Micra

Oh and the reason for this ? Well it is pretty annoying to see it flashing all the time, I cannot read the time, nor other messages whilst it is there.

thank you.

I think my stalk is not working. When I press it is activates the rear wiper but does not change the display on the trip computer.

Please advise.
