so why are you staying loyal to them? If the deal is the same for same then move. There is no hassle, the new company will most likely take the deal over the net. Swift sure who I moved to only required my renewal notice from the last company to honour the NCB. Saved money like you will. believe me they don

Fortis............ Hmmm, worth a look Keith.

Ah, just found out that their local agent is the one that totally ****** me on my Renault 11 Turbo many years ago. Paid the premium, two weeks later had a letter saying they had underquoted, and wanted some more cash - the same amount again, in fact. Vowed never to darken their door again.

Are there any on-line Fortis brokers, or does it have to be via local agent?

FYI, decided to renew with Citroen Insurance this time:

I got mine through local broker but you can go to Fortis online and get a free quote.

As someone who has numerous vehicles, one of which is commercial, can I say a word re. insurance.
Keep away from the Direct companies. Get with a good broker. This is someone who relies on you. So,
then you can rely on them..... When you get a difficult claim the direct and online companies suddenly are, or can be awkward. Not exactly dilligent in recovering uninsured losses etc.
I shudder to think what will happen to some of the folk who will be claiming because of the recent floods.
Everybody boasts about how cheap they have got a premium for, but they don't boast about the crap service they end up having.
Morris Man.

I did the usual thing of trawling the internet for best deals last year for my Pic and was surprised that several companies offered different quotes, were if fact 'overseen' the same large insurance company. Went with Esure in the end.
