Hi Picasso expert in this forum,
Just recently joint this forum and found out it is very useful. Especially for me (Indonesian) living in France and owning French car (Picasso 2.0 HDi Sahara Gold / found the name of colour from this site as well), this is not a very good combination especially I am not speaking French yet.
Got my car 2nd hand with 90k km (model 2002).
I got a question regarding the shock absorber, is it normal that the shock absorber is very soft? since I found it a bit noisy on the bad road condition.
Is it worthy to change the shock absorber?
It is also making noise when I press the break on reverse condition, any idea for the reason for it?

Appreciate for the feedback

Rgds,

A bit difficult to answer, since one persons idea of "soft" will be different to another. All I can tell you is that passengers in my car have remarked at how good the handling is. Can you find another Pic (in a car park when it's quiet) and bounce the suspension up & down, to compare it to yours. Might be best to ask the owner first

Squeaky brakes........ Could be anything, but check the rears for wear.

"Understeer" is when you hit the fence with the front of the car.
"Oversteer" is when you hit the fence with the rear of the car.
"Horsepower" is how fast you hit the fence.
"Torque" is how far you take the fence with you.

Thanks for the reply ...

I will try, it seems that there are more than 2 picasso in my office's car park at the moment.
For the rear break, I will check it as well. Since the dealer told me that they only change the front disc before I picked it up.

99.9% of the time it'll be the Rear Brakes squelling due to the brake dust and the shoes aren't used to braking in that direction - Remove Wheels, Drums & clean brake dust, de-glaze brake linnings & refit - Sorted! B)
